Scott Bechler

Scott Bechler currently serves as the Head of New Markets at Ivy Energy since July 2022, following a role as a Senior Market Growth Analyst. Previously, Scott worked as an Advanced Student Consultant at the Duke Environmental Law & Policy Clinic and gained experience as a Solar and Energy Efficiency Intern at the Southern Environmental Law Center during the Stanback Fellowship Program. Additional experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Climate & Energy Program at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, and as a Global Business Development Consultant at IBM. Scott also participated in the Fulbright Program as an English Teaching Assistant. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geosciences, cum laude, with a minor in Spanish from Princeton University and a Master of Environmental Management in Environmental Economics & Policy from Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment.
