Arantxa Bolinches Amorós

Head, Fat Biology at Ivy Farm Technologies

Arantxa Bolinches Amorós is the current Head of Fat Biology at Ivy Farm Technologies. Arantxa has also worked as a Cell Biology Leader, Postdoctoral Research Assistant, and Ph.D. Student.

Arantxa began their career as a Ph.D. Fellowship JAE-PREDOC from Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Arantxa then worked as a Ph. D. Student at Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe (CIPF) before becoming a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the same organization. In 2017, they took on the role of Postdoctoral Research Assistant at OxStem Limited. Finally, in September 2020, they became the Cell Biology Leader (aka Game Keeper) at Ivy Farm Technologies.

Bolinches Amorós’ research has focused on the identification of small molecules that stimulate retinal precursor cells. Her work at Ivy Farm Technologies is aimed at making real, tasty mince meat that is free from slaughter, free from GMO, free from antibiotics, and free from guilt.

After completing their undergraduate studies in biology at the University of Valencia, Arantxa Bolinches Amorós pursued a Master of Science in molecular, cellular and genetics biology also at the University of Valencia. Arantxa then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in biological sciences from the same school.
