Arjan Peço

Arjan Peço has a diverse work experience. Arjan started their career as a professional football player, playing for Dinamo from 1992 to 1997, SRD Delémont from 1997 to 1998, Yverdon Sport FC from 1998 to 2001, and Concordia Basel from 2001 to 2006.

After their football career, they transitioned into coaching roles at FC Concordia Basel, where they served as a Coach for the U14 and U15 teams from 2009 to 2011. Following that, they joined FC Basel 1893 as the Cheftrainer for various age groups, including U14, U17, U18, and U21, from 2011 to 2020.

From 2009 to 2022, Arjan worked in various roles at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel, including Senior-Projektleiter, Senior Specialist Controlling, Leiter Zentrales Controlling, and ultimately as a Financial Controller.

In 2022, Arjan briefly worked at OGC NICE as an Entraîneur adjoint. Arjan then returned to IWB Industrielle Werke Basel in 2023 as a Business Analyst.

Arjan Peço began their education in 1993 at the University of Tirana, where they studied mathematics until 1997. In 2006, they enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Betriebsökonomie and Controlling, completing their degree in 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Arjan obtained their Fussballtrainer UEFA C license from the Schweizerischer Fussballverband SFV in April 2003. In March 2005, they obtained the Fussballtrainer UEFA B license from the same institution. Subsequently, in April 2014, they received the Fussballtrainer UEFA A license. Arjan's professional development continued with the acquisition of the Berufstrainer certification from Swiss Olympic in September 2016. Lastly, in July 2020, they completed the UEFA Pro Lizenz program offered by the Schweizerischer Fussballverband SFV.
