Joanna Szewczyk

Joanna Szewczyk has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joanna has worked for IWG plc since 2013, holding positions such as Global Commercial Strategy, Planning and Programmes Director, Global ESG and CSR Lead, Global Sales Strategy, Planning, and Programmes Director, Global Broker and Partnerships Director, Global Head of Sales Programmes, Global Sales Transformation Programme Manager, Global Marketing Project Manager, and Global HR Operations Project Coordinator. Prior to joining IWG plc, Joanna worked at Badenoch & Clark as a Candidate Relationship Manager and a Corporate Social Responsibility Committee Member. Joanna also gained experience at the University of Cape Town as a Masters Student and Research Assistant, the Chipangali Wildlife Trust Carnivore Institute as a Community Development Officer, Fuller Hall House Committee as a House Committee member, and SHAWCO Education as a Volunteer.

Joanna Szewczyk's education history is as follows:

- In 2021, they attended the University of Cambridge for a course in Business and Climate Change: Towards Net Zero Emissions.

- In 2015, they obtained a PRINCE 2 Project Management Foundation & Practitioner certification from Knowledge Academy.

- From 2011 to 2013, they pursued an MSocSci in Environmental and Geographical Sciences by Dissertation at the University of Cape Town, focusing on Human Geography, Food Security, Livelihood Analysis, and Socio-economic development.

- From 2007 to 2012, they studied Social Sciences with a concentration in Environmental and Geographical Sciences and Industrial Sociology at the University of Cape Town.

- In 2011, they participated in an Exchange Program at the University of Oulu, studying Environmental Sciences.
