Andrea Waters

Andrea Waters is an experienced professional in healthcare and education, currently serving as the Manager of Primary Health, Healthy Populations & Provincial Initiatives at IWK Health since April 2006. Concurrently, Andrea holds the position of International Canoe/Kayak Classifier for the International Canoe Federation and has contributed as a sessional instructor at both Nova Scotia Community College and Dalhousie University. Previously, Andrea worked as the CMCL Provincial Coordinator for the Canadian Paralympic Committee, focusing on increasing participation in sports for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, experience as a Recreation Therapist at Capital District Health Authority spanned from 1996 to 2006. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Recreation in Therapeutic Recreation from Dalhousie University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health Professionals Education at Queen's University.
