Andrei Paduraru started their work experience in 2006 as a Junior Programmer at Gecad Technologies, where they developed QA load testing frameworks for the Axigen server. Andrei then joined Ixia in 2008 as a Software Engineer II, mainly focusing on developing high-performance VoIP protocols for device testing. Andrei progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer I at Ixia, where they were involved in building specs, designing and implementing VoIP media protocols. In their next role as a Senior Software Engineer II, they worked on Voice over LTE (VoLTE) projects, including software RTP over LTE and porting existing software onto new hardware platforms. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Engineer I at Ixia.
Andrei Paduraru completed their education with a diverse range of academic achievements. Andrei began their educational journey at Liceul "Stefan Procopiu" from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a degree as an analyst programmer, emphasizing in programming and mathematics. Following this, Andrei pursued higher studies at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2002 to 2007, earning an Engineer's degree in Automatic Control & Computer Science. Finally, they continued their academic pursuits, obtaining a Master's degree in Open Architecture Systems from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers Science, achieved between 2007 and 2009.
