Prasada Rao

Prasada Rao has a strong background in engineering and technical roles, with experience spanning several well-known companies. Prasada began their career in 1991 as a DSP Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation. From there, they worked as a DSP Senior Engineer at Sonitech International Inc from 1993 to 1995. In 1995, they joined Ericsson GE Mobile Communications as a Staff Engineer before transitioning to a role as a Senior Staff Engineer at Ericsson Inc/SonyEricsson Inc in 1997. At Ericsson Inc/SonyEricsson Inc, Prasada worked on various SW functions and DSP algorithms for cellular standards. In 2003, they moved to SonyEricsson Inc/Ericsson Inc, where they held the position of Consulting Engineer/Technical Lead, focusing on the design of audio subsystems for smartphones. In 2007, Prasada joined Ericsson Inc/ST Ericsson Inc as a Technical Lead/Consulting Engineer, contributing to the development of LTE and LTE-Advanced systems. Most recently, Prasada worked at Ixia as a Principal Engineer, leading the design and development of SW and DSP algorithms for 4G LTE and LTE-Advanced systems.

Prasada Rao's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electronics engineering with DSP specialization from Anna University, which they pursued from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1989, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University. Later, they enrolled in Canyon College, affiliated to the University of Idaho, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Organization/Business Management from 2004 to 2006.
