Ron Steedman

Ron Steedman has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Ron started their career as a Software Developer at VDISoft, Inc. in 1999 before moving on to Cisco in 2000, where they worked as a Software Engineer IV until 2006. After that, they joined Ciena as a Sr. Software Engineer from 2006 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Ixia as a Sr. Technical Support Engineer II and later became the Technical Support Lead in 2015.

Ron Steedman received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Florida State University, where they attended from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Ron has obtained several certifications in the field of networking. Ron became a Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) in September 2012 and earned the CCNP Routing & Switching certification in March 2012. Ron also holds the CCNA Routing & Switching certification, which they obtained in February 2012. Furthermore, they hold the BADCS - Brocade Accredited Data Center Specialist certification from Brocade, acquired in May 2013, and the JNCIA - JunOS Associate certification from Juniper Networks, obtained in March 2013.
