Tathagata Chakraborty

Tathagata Chakraborty has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Tathagata started their career as an Associate Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services in 1998. Tathagata then worked as a Software Consultant at UshaComm from 1999 to 2005, where they handled various projects. In 2005, Tathagata joined Rebaca Technologies as a Software Consultant, where they focused on designing and developing projects in IP networking and security. Tathagata also led small teams during this time. In 2010, Tathagata started working at Ixia as a Principal Software Engineer. Tathagata has held multiple roles at Ixia, including Principal Software Engineer I and II, where they were involved in the design and development of new features in the IxLoad platform. Tathagata has experience in development in both user space and kernel space in Linux. Tathagata also took on additional responsibilities such as mentoring juniors, providing technical reviews, and guiding system architecture. Overall, they have a strong background in software engineering, project management, and leadership.

Tathagata Chakraborty completed their high school education from South Point High School between 1990 and 1994. During this time, they focused on the subjects of Science and Languages. Following their high school education, they pursued their Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering (BCSE) degree from Jadavpur University, from 1994 to 1998.

During their time at Jadavpur University, Tathagata Chakraborty gained knowledge in various subjects including Computer Organization, Data Structures, Graph Theory, Automata Theory, Microprocessors, as well as programming languages such as C, Cobol, and Lisp. These areas of study formed an integral part of their academic journey at Jadavpur University.
