Bárbara Brito Vega

Bárbara Brito Vega has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Bárbara started their career as an Associate R&D Image Analyst at IXICO, where they were involved in image processing, analysis, and programmatic testing of neuroimaging solutions. Bárbara then progressed to the role of R&D Image Analyst, where they focused on CSV process, documentation, and automation of analysis workflows. Currently, they hold the position of R&D Imaging Engineer at IXICO, where they are responsible for adapting scientific solutions into production-ready products, designing technical solutions to optimize workflows, and developing software frameworks to improve delivery. Prior to their time at IXICO, they worked as an R&D Management Technician at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for a brief period.

Bárbara Brito Vega pursued their education in a chronological order, beginning in 2011. Bárbara enrolled at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Biomedical Engineering. This period of study lasted from 2011 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Bárbara attended King's College London in 2018, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Neuroimaging. This program concluded in 2019.
