Hiba K. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. In 2012, they worked as a Graduate Placement and Research Worker at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. Hiba then took on the role of Event Coordinator for the MRC Centenary, where they organized a successful event in collaboration with the Science Museum. Hiba K. also worked as an Assistant Psychologist at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in 2013. In 2020, they joined COMPASS Pathways as part of the Clinical Operations and Research & Development team, providing operational support for mental health studies. Currently, Hiba K. is employed at IXICO as an Associate Biomarker Scientist, where they have been since May 2020. Additionally, they recently took on the role of Biomarker Scientist in January 2022.
Hiba K. completed their education in a chronological order. Hiba first attended the University of Reading from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology, which was accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Subsequently, from 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Clinical Neuroscience at King's College London. Eventually, Hiba pursued their highest level of education at UCL, from 2015 to 2019, where they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical Neuroscience.
