April Storm

April Storm's work experience includes various roles and responsibilities in different organizations. In December 2021, they started working as an Account Manager at IXL Learning. Prior to that, they were an Educator at Wake County Public School System from July 2017 to December 2021. April also volunteered as a Read and Feed Volunteer at Read and Feed from January 2019 to June 2019.

Before their role as an Educator, April served as a Student Teacher at Brooks Museum Magnet Elementary School from December 2016 to April 2017. In this role, they planned engaging lessons, taught various subjects, and assisted in creating a cohesive classroom environment.

April has also gained experience as a Volunteer Engagement Intern at Habitat for Humanity of Wake County in May 2016 and as a Student Intern at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction from February 2016 to March 2016. In these positions, they assisted with various tasks, including conference organization and attendee support.

Furthermore, April worked as an Intern at Helps Education Fund from January 2015 to May 2015. In this role, they helped organize events such as a Teacher Appreciation Brunch and a binder packaging event for the organization.

Overall, April Storm has gained a diverse range of experiences in education, volunteer work, and internship roles, showcasing their dedication and versatility.

April Storm attended Panther Creek High School from 2009 to 2013. Following their high school education, they went on to North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2017. At North Carolina State University, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Nonprofit Studies.
