Julie Brunner

Julie Brunner is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in science education and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Professional Learning Specialist at IXL Learning since June 2022, Julie previously held the role of Science Content Lead at KIPP Chicago, where responsibilities included managing a science team and enhancing classroom instruction. Julie's background includes working as a KIPP Amplify Master Teacher, where national curriculum resources were developed, and leading professional development sessions. Additional teaching experience spans various educational institutions, including the NYC Department of Education and St. John's University. Julie holds a Master of Education in Biology/Biological Sciences from Brooklyn College, a Master of Public Health from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences, also from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
