Melissa Hayden

Melissa Hayden has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Melissa began their career as a Sales Representative at Pfizer in 2005, where they worked until 2007. Melissa then transitioned into the field of education and served as a Social Studies Teacher at Raleigh County Schools from 2007 to 2012. Following this, Melissa worked as a Realtor at Coldwell Banker HPW from 2015 to 2018. In 2012, they joined Chatham County, NC, where they worked as a Northwood High School teacher until 2019. Currently, Melissa works at IXL Learning, where they started as an Account Manager in 2019 and later progressed to become a Strategic Account Manager in 2020. Melissa is currently serving as the Team Lead, Account Management.

Melissa Hayden received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History/Political Science from John Carroll University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. In 1999, they pursued education licensure with a focus on Comprehensive Social Studies teaching at Ohio Dominican University, completing their studies in 2001. In 2005 to 2006, Melissa furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University.
