Rochely Hernández Burgos

Rochely Hernández Burgos has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as a Recruitment Coordinator at IXL Learning from May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Vaco from February 2022 to March 2023 in the same role.

In 2021, Rochely worked as a Supplier Diversity Development Intern at Eli Lilly and Company, where they enrolled top suppliers for Tier 2 reporting and reviewed master agreements to ensure supplier diversity commitments. Their efforts led to a 15% increase in Tier 2 reporting, positively impacting the company's ranking in DiversityInc.

From August 2019 to August 2021, Rochely held the position of Administrative Assistant of NSF I-Corps Sites UPRM at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. In this role, they organized special events focused on STEM-related business development, recruited teams with science and technology business ideas, and managed funding dedicated to customer discovery for participating teams.

During the same period, Rochely also served as the Business Lead for the UPRM Roboboat Team, showcasing their leadership abilities and passion for robotics.

Rounding out their experience, Rochely interned at Microsoft from December 2019 to December 2020 as a Territory Channel Manager. In this role, they gained expertise in the channel ecosystem and customer segment trends, identified channels for reaching new customers, and engaged distributors and resellers.

Rochely Hernández Burgos pursued their education from 2016 to 2022 at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a specialization in Operation Management. In addition, in October 2020, they earned a Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt certification from LaSalle Group, LLC.
