Sotos Yianni

Sotos Yianni has a diverse work experience spanning various educational institutions. Sotos is currently employed as a Senior Mathematics and Science Content Developer at IXL Learning since September 2022.

Prior to this, they worked at Essendine Primary School for four years, from September 2018 to August 2022. During this time, they served as a Partnership Leader and Assistant Head Teacher for three years and as a Lead Practitioner and Maths Specialist for one year.

Before their tenure at Essendine Primary School, Sotos worked at St Luke's C of E Primary School from September 2014 to August 2018. Sotos held multiple roles at the school, including KS1 Phase Leader, KS1 Class Teacher (Y2), Maths Coordinator, KS2 Phase Leader, Class Teacher (Y3 & Y4), and Maths Coordinator.

In addition to their experience in primary schools, Sotos also worked as a Maths Tutor and Primary Tutor for Various Students from September 2013 to July 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Year 2 Class Teacher at the 35th Primary School of Patras from September 2012 to August 2013.

Sotos'searliest work experience in the field of education was as a Year 5 Student Teacher at the 8th Primary School of Patras from September 2011 to January 2012.

Sotos Yianni completed their Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education at the University of Patras from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mathematics in Education at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society from 2015 to 2017.
