Eugene du Plessis

Eugene du Plessis has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Eugene started their career as a Treasury Dealer at TCTA in 1997 and then moved on to become a Senior Trader at Rand Merchant Bank, where they worked until 2009. In 2009, they joined African Financial Markets Consultants as a Director, a role they held until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Group Treasury Manager at Aveng Group. Currently, Eugene holds two positions at Izwe Africa Group - Chief Investment Officer and Izwe Africa Group Executive Director for Treasury & Investor Relations, which they started in 2015.

Eugene du Plessis obtained an MCom degree in Finance from the University of Pretoria between 1992 and 1997.
