Jake Wofford

Jake Wofford has a diverse work experience in transportation and logistics. Jake started their career as a Process Engineer Intern at Ayrshire Electronics from March 2008 to January 2010. Jake then joined J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc in June 2010 as a Logistics Engineer in their Dedicated Contract Services Fleet Design division. From January 2012 to March 2014, they served as a Logistics Engineer II in the Intermodal West Region Operations, where they managed projects related to load planning optimization and identified integration opportunities for cost savings. In April 2014, they were promoted to Regional Operations Manager, leading a team of Fleet Managers responsible for managing over 200 truck drivers and overseeing a $15 million operation. From March 2016 to February 2018, they served as the Director of Intermodal Operations, responsible for execution in the Stockton and Fresno terminals. Jake then took on the role of Director of Intermodal Operations II from February 2018 to February 2020, overseeing intermodal drayage operations in Los Angeles. Currently, Jake is the Vice President of Operations at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc, a position they have held since February 2020.

Jake Wofford obtained their Executive Master's degree (M.S) in Transportation Management from the University of Denver between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree (B.S) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas, which they completed between 2006 and 2010.
