Ismael Rivero

Ismael Rivero has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ismael most recently worked at JB Poindexter & Co as a Category Manager in the Supply Chain department, starting in November 2021. Before that, they served as a Supply Chain Manager - Sourcing Projects Manager at Emerson Automation Solutions from June 2020 to November 2021, where they led the creation of a commodities strategy and initiated projects with potential savings of 35%.

Prior to that, Ismael worked at PCM SA as a Sourcing Engineer from May 2019 to June 2020, achieving 7% savings on recurrent purchases and implementing stock agreements with strategic suppliers. Ismael also gained experience as a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Jadi Corporation from January 2014 to May 2019, overseeing the incorporation process of the company as a procurement office.

Ismael Rivero's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they participated in an exchange program at Boston University, focusing on business studies, during the years 2008 and 2009. Subsequently, in 2011, Ismael attended IESA to earn a Finance Certificate, specializing in Finance. Currently, Ismael is pursuing an MBA in International Business at the University of Houston-Downtown, with an anticipated completion date of 2022.
