We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail oriented Human Resources Co-op to join our team and contribute to various HR functions while learning and growing alongside industry professionals.
The Human Resources Co-Op will be responsible for handling a wide range of support-related tasks focused on general HR matters and projects in the areas of onboarding, recruitment, benefits and HRIS. This co-op will also spend 20% of their time gaining exposure to the work of Learning & Development, an exciting business area that oversees employee learning and professional development. L&D coordinates workforce development opportunities, administers the learning management system AbsorbLMS, and partners with company subject matter experts to develop employee training. This role will be a highly resourceful team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. This role requires the highest level of confidentiality regarding all Cannistraro information.

Assist recruiter with scheduling interviews as needed.
Shadow to learn more about the Recruiting function.
Update job descriptions to new format and upload them into the applicable folders
A successful candidate will have:
0-1 Years’ Experience
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business or a related field
Interested in exploring a variety of roles in human resources
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; interacts professionally with employees, candidates, vendors, and other external partners
Demonstrated time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and good decision making are required
Demonstrated organizational/planning skills
Ability to multi-task/prioritize work
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
