Pamila Brar's work experience includes serving as the Chief Medical Officer at the J. Craig Venter Institute since November 2018. Pamila also worked as the Chief Medical Officer and later as the President at Health Nucleus from April 2018 to October 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Medical Director at Human Longevity, Inc. starting in June 2015. In May 2015, they became the President of the American Academy of Private Physicians. Before these roles, they worked as the CEO of Pamila K. Brar, M.D. Inc- Concierge Internal Medicine from September 2009 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, they were a Concierge Internist at the Private Internal Medicine Center in Scripps Clinic from August 2006 to September 2009 and an Internist at the Division of General Internal Medicine in Scripps Clinic, Torrey Pines from July 1999 to August 2006.
Pamila Brar completed a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Louisiana State University between 1991 and 1995. Their undergraduate education was at Southeastern Louisiana University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of Board Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
