Maciej Smolarz

Maciej Smolarz has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Maciej started their career as an Intern and later worked as a Research Assistant at Celther Polska Sp. z o.o. from July 2014 to September 2017. Maciej then joined GFT Technologies as a Junior Java Developer, where they automated the provisioning and monitoring of instances on Google Cloud Platform using Java 8, Spring Boot, and other technologies. Maciej also developed a backend for a mobile application for light payments using microservice-oriented architecture. After that, they worked at Sii Poland as a Java Developer, where they developed and maintained a "Data hygiene" application and migrated it to AWS. Maciej used Java 8, Spring Boot, and other technologies for this. Additionally, they worked at ITDS Business Consultants as a Software Engineer, where they focused on developing and maintaining a Software Vulnerability Management System using Java 8/11, Spring Boot, and other technologies. Currently, they are working as a Principal Java Developer at j-labs software specialists.

Maciej Smolarz completed their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Medical Biotechnology from Uniwersytet Medyczny w Łodzi. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Faculty of Engineering - Biotechnology from Lodz University of Technology. In addition to their academic degrees, they have obtained the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle in September 2018. Furthermore, they hold a Prince2 Foundation Certificate, although the institution and date of obtaining this certification are not specified. In 2011, they also had a brief period of study at Aalborg University, but no degree or field of study are mentioned for this short-term educational experience.
