Daniel Wild

Daniel Wild currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd, a position held since March 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel was Global Head of ESG Strategy at Credit Suisse from September 2019 to February 2022 and Co-CEO at RobecoSAM from November 2006 to August 2019, focusing on investments, sustainability research, and ESG ratings. Daniel also held the position of Head of Sustainability Investing Research and Development at SECO Economic Cooperation and Development between February 2004 and October 2006, and was Division Head of Environmental Technology at Ernst Basler + Partners from April 1999 to February 2004, specializing in environmental engineering and planning. Earlier in Daniel's career, a postdoctoral research role at Stanford University from September 1997 to March 1999 involved research on wastewater reuse and groundwater quality. Daniel earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Chemical Engineering, both from ETH Zürich.
