Melissa Filippone

Program Coordinator, Young Scholars Program at Jack Kent Cooke

Ms. Filippone joined the Foundation in 2019 as a program coordinator for the Cooke Young Scholars Program. In her role, Ms. Filippone supports a team of educational advisers in implementing the student services identified in each scholar’s Individualized Learning Plan.

Prior to working for the Foundation, Ms. Filippone was an institutional research coordinator for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy as well as an outreach coordinator for JDRF, a nonprofit focused on Type 1 diabetes. She loves working in the nonprofit field and is passionate about the opportunity to have a positive impact through her work at the Foundation.

Ms. Filippone holds a B.S. in biology from James Madison University.
