Justin Liu

Director Level MCAT Tutor at Jack Westin

Justin Liu has a diverse work experience that spans various fields. Justin started in 2020 as an Emergency Medical Technician at LifeLine Ambulance. In 2021, they worked as a Research Assistant in the Uddin Lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they synthesized and tested the efficacy of a COX-2 marker for colon cancer imaging. Justin then joined Columbia University in the City of New York in 2018, where they had multiple roles including Research Assistant in the Bone Bioengineering Lab, General Chemistry Lab Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant in the Hood Visual Science Lab, and Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow. At the Hood Visual Science Lab, they ran analyses on eye scans and created reports using MATLAB, and worked on projects related to glaucoma progression. In 2022, Justin worked as an MCAT Tutor at Blueprint Test Prep and as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Currently, they hold the position of Director Level MCAT Tutor at Jack Westin.

Justin Liu attended Los Alamitos High School from 2014 to 2018. Justin then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience and Behavior at Columbia University from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, in June 2019, Justin obtained a certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
