Sarah Peters has worked in various roles within the education industry since 2012. Sarah started their career as a Mathematics Teacher at Collins-Maxwell Middle/High School and then moved to Waukee Community School District in 2014, where they served as a Curriculum Leader, Instructional Mentor and Math Teacher. In their role as Math Teacher, they designed and developed ILT, VILT, eLearning courses, blended learning and microlearning opportunities. Sarah also wrote learning objectives and created curriculum and assessments directly aligned to those objectives. In 2022, Sarah began working for Fortitude Careers as a Content Developer, where they designed and developed modules for Instructor Lead Training (ILT). Sarah also communicated updates on project timelines and deliverables and analyzed, edited and redesigned existing materials for instructional value as well as content accuracy. Additionally, Sarah is currently employed as a Video Help Content Creator at Jackrabbit Online Class Management Software.

Sarah Peters has a comprehensive educational background. Sarah is currently enrolled at the Applied Instructional Design Academy and is expected to receive an Instructional Design and eLearning Credential in 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching from Morningside University in 2017, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of Northern Iowa in 2011. Additionally, Sarah has obtained various certifications from Learning Strategy and Design, TechSmith, and LinkedIn in the areas of eLearning Development, Instructional Design, Vyond, and TechSmith Camtasia.
