Sandra Severe

Sandra Severe is the SVP & CEO of Jackson North Medical Center at Jackson Health System. Sandra has over 15 years of experience in healthcare, including their previous role as Director of Early Steps Southernmost Coast at Miami Children's Hospital. In this role, they worked with the Florida Department of Health Children’s Medical Services to provide exceptional patient care and uphold hospital and program guidelines. Sandra is a strong advocate for their patients and their families, and is passionate about providing the best possible care for their community.

Sandra Severe pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish at Tulane University. Afterward, they completed a Master of Public Health in Public Health Education and Communication at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Finally, Sandra earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health/ Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from Florida International University.
