Catalina Simion

Catalina Simion is an accomplished scientific professional with extensive experience in in vivo scientific operations, project management, and research. Currently serving as Manager of In Vivo Scientific Operations and Scientist at The Jackson Laboratory since January 2018, Catalina has also held various roles including In Vivo Scientist and Project Manager, as well as Associate Scientist and Project Manager. Prior experience includes a position as Postdoctoral Fellow and Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California, Davis from September 2010 to December 2017, following a Masters Graduate Student role at UC Davis Medical Center from September 2008 to June 2010. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Integrative Pathobiology, a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology, all obtained from the University of California, Davis.
