Charles Miller

Charles Miller, PhD MBA, has a diverse and extensive career in various leadership roles. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Research Associate in Cancer Genomics at the University of Michigan Medical School. Charles then joined the Van Andel Institute as a Graduate Research Assistant in Molecular Genetics, where they made significant discoveries in a novel signaling pathway crucial for genomic stability. In 2010, Miller became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, leading research projects on cancer immunology and drug mechanisms. Charles joined The Jackson Laboratory in 2012, where they held multiple roles, including Technical Support Operations Manager and Director of Marketing and Business Development, before becoming the CEO of The Jackson Laboratory China. In their most recent position as Vice President, Global Commercial Operations at The Jackson Laboratory, Miller was responsible for leading global sales, marketing, and order fulfillment operations and expanding channel partnerships. Overall, they have consistently exceeded financial growth targets and demonstrated a strong track record in talent management, strategic planning, and business development.

Charles Miller, PhD MBA, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Michigan in 2000. Charles then pursued a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University, completing their studies in 2010. Recently, from 2016 to 2018, they attended Yale University and graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree.
