Dan Skelly

Dan Skelly is an accomplished Senior Computational Scientist at The Jackson Laboratory since October 2016, where contributions include research on single cell functional genomics and computational biology, supported by NIH NIAID funding. Prior to this role, Dan served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Duke University from March 2013 to September 2016, focusing on the genetic basis of quantitative traits in diverse yeast populations through a combination of wet laboratory and computational methods, with funding from the NIH Ruth L. Dan Skelly earned a PhD in Genome Sciences/Genomics from the University of Washington School of Medicine (2007-2012) and a BS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2001-2005).
