Siming Zhang

Siming Zhang is a Senior Computational Scientist at Myriad Genetics since July 2020, previously serving as a Researcher PhD Student at Stanford University School of Medicine from September 2014 to July 2020. During the PhD program, Siming performed multi-omics analysis on the 15q13.3 copy number variant and identified DNA methylation signatures related to autism and perinatal depression while mentoring undergraduate researchers. Prior roles include Life Science Research Assistant at Stanford University, where sequencing protocols were developed, and Staff Research Associate II at the Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute, focusing on autoimmune diseases and database development. Siming obtained a PhD in Genetics from Stanford University and a Bachelor's in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
