Kelly Larue Brackett

Kelly LaRue Brackett is a Senior Manager for Curriculum and Learning Implementation at The Jackson Laboratory, overseeing courses and curriculum for the Animal Care team and managing workforce development projects. With a background as a Scientific Advisor and Genomics Education Specialist, Kelly has focused on teaching mouse biology and genetics, as well as developing recruitment and training pipelines. Additional experience includes serving as a board member at the Maine School of Science and Mathematics and as a visiting faculty member at College of the Atlantic, where a biochemistry course was taught using active learning strategies. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dickinson College.
