Moses Davis

Moses Davis, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations. Currently, they serve as the Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at The Jackson Laboratory since March 2021. Previously, they founded and worked as the Chief Consultant at Davis & Associates Diversity and Inclusion Specialists, providing expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion practices. Moses has also worked as a Lead Facilitator at LeaderShape, Inc., and as an Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion at The Johns Hopkins University. Prior to that, they held positions such as Director of the Multicultural Resource Center at Penn State University, Assistant Director of Residence Life at Penn State University, Coordinator of Residence Education at the University of Michigan, and Residence Hall Director at St. John's University.

Moses Davis, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching, with a focus on English and Spanish, from Western Michigan University in the years 1994 to 1999. Moses then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from New York University from 2002 to 2004. Later on, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Workforce Education at Penn State University between the years 2008 and 2013.
