Shannan Morris has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Shannan began their career as a Technical Recruiter at Genie Matthews & Associates, where they successfully recruited engineers for critical manufacturing positions. Shannan then joined GlaxoSmithKline as an Executive Sales Representative, where they received promotions and led strategic marketing and sales efforts.

Morris later transitioned to LehmanMillet as a Business Development Manager, focusing on bringing innovations to market within the healthcare space. Shannan also worked at Alexander Mann Solutions as an Account Director, executing marketing strategies for global clients such as Deutsche Bank and Rolls-Royce.

In 2012, Morris joined Palomar Medical Technologies, Inc. as a Product Marketing Manager, responsible for domestic and international marketing strategies. Shannan oversaw 6 product lines and contributed to a significant increase in global portfolio revenue.

Currently, Morris is employed at The Jackson Laboratory as the Director of Integrated Marketing. In this role, they lead the strategy and execution of marketing programs for a biomedical research and services organization. Shannan has also served as the Chief Communications Officer (interim), providing strategic counsel to executive leadership and leading a team of communications professionals.

Shannan then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington between 1985 and 1990. After that, they pursued further education and obtained an MBA degree in Management and Marketing from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2008 to 2010. In 2018, Shannan attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education program to receive training in Digital Strategy.
