Alex Reed

Alex Reed has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and broadcasting in the ice hockey industry. Alex started their career as the Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations & Group Ticket Sales for the Lewiston MAINEiacs Hockey Club LLC from September 2007 to October 2010. Following that, they worked as a Broadcaster, Media Relations/Marketing Manager for the Wheeling Nailers from October 2010 to August 2011. Alex then joined the Florida Everblades Professional Hockey Club as the Public/Community Relations Manager & Broadcaster from August 2011 to September 2018. In September 2013 to March 2014, they worked as the Director of Communications for the Norfolk Admirals (AHL). From September 2018 to March 2019, they served as the Public Relations & Broadcasting Manager for the Norfolk Admirals. Currently, Alex Reed is the Director of Communications & Broadcasting for the Jacksonville Icemen since March 2019.

Alex Reed completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/TV & General Studies at Marshall University from 2001 to 2005. Later, from 2005 to 2007, Alex pursued a Master of Arts degree in Journalism - Public Relations at the same institution.
