Holly Ellis

Chief Financial Officer at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens

Holly Ellis started their work experience as an Audit Manager at KPMG US in 1990. Holly was responsible for coordinating and requesting financial records and materials from clients and developing a list of employees to be interviewed during the audit process. Holly then joined the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens in 1994 as the Chief Financial Officer. In this role, they oversaw all finance, accounting, and information technology activities for the zoo, including managing the accounting, IT, and cash office divisions and preparing the annual operational budget.

Holly Ellis attended The University of Georgia from 1985 to 1989, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. During the same period, they also enrolled in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Accounting.
