Jetske Bouma has a diverse work experience starting from an internship at Bugaboo in 1998, where they researched standardization possibilities for a pram. Jetske also had an internship at Heineken in 2002, where they conducted a survey and investigated opportunities for the Heineken brand in the duty-free business. In the same year, they had an internship at Philips Benelux, where they worked on a thesis project investigating the possibilities for the development of a mass-customized flat TV.
Jetske Bouma joined Procter & Gamble in 2003 as a Junior Brand Manager for Feminine Care and later moved on to become a Junior Brand Manager for Fabric Care. In 2007, they became a Commercial Manager for Olaz. Jetske took on various roles at Procter & Gamble, including In-Store Communications Manager and Global Brand Manager for Head & Shoulders. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the Business Leader for Personal Beauty Care BNL, and from 2013 to 2015, they took on the additional role of Sales Director Prestige NL at Procter & Gamble.
In 2016, Jetske Bouma worked at IKEA Group as a Country External Communication & Product PR specialist and later served as an Interim Project Manager. In 2017, they joined Yarrah Organic Petfood BV as the Chief Marketing Officer, and they also held the position of a Non-Executive Board Member. Finally, in 2020, they joined JDE as the Marketing Director for Retail Netherlands and later assumed the role of Marketing Director for Retail & Professional Netherlands.
Jetske Bouma attended gymnasium apeldoorn from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained a Gymnasium degree. Jetske then studied at Delft University of Technology from 1996 to 2003, graduating with a master's degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Innovation Management.
