Ali Rauf

Ali Rauf has over 15 years of experience in finance, specializing in USD Rates trading and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Jain Global LLC since August 2024, Rauf previously held the position of Quantitative Researcher at Squarepoint Capital. Ali's career includes significant roles as a Director and VP at Bank of America and Nomura, respectively, focusing on US Government Bonds trading. Rauf started in trading at HSBC, where roles included Lead US Government Bonds Trader and USD STIR Swaps Market Maker, and has experience in EU cash equities trading and rates sales. Rauf began their professional journey as a Rates Trading Intern at HSBC and as a Quality Engineer Placement Student at BAE Systems. Rauf holds an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from City, University of London.
