ABOUT THE ROLE

The Central Technology division of Jam City builds and maintains cutting edge platforms for use across the Jam City portfolio of games including cloud infrastructure, live operations, data platform, IT solutions, data security, and much more. The Product Management team works with internal and external customers to understand their needs, value of the work, and timeline of every major initiative Central Technology undertakes, and they steer the work of numerous individuals to where it will make the most impact for the business.

As a Technical Product Manager you will collaborate with team members across every division of Jam City to identify opportunities, define product strategy, own and build the Central Technology roadmap, and contribute to strategic planning.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Work closely with game and corporate teams to understand their needs, particularly in the realms of data, analytics, dashboarding, and reporting.
  • Define and drive a vision, strategy, and roadmap with the Analytics group.
  • Create detailed product requirements that are used to guide design and technical specifications.
  • Partner with Engineering, Analytics, IT, DevOps, and other Product Managers to answer business and design questions, perform in-depth analysis, and align product and technical plans for teams to execute against

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years experience in product management, building and delivering software products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong ability to define and write product requirement documents, measure and rank opportunities by business value, and create and maintain accurate roadmaps for work in progress
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and collaborate with a diverse array of extremely talented Jam Citizens across the globe on a variety of challenging and ambitious projects
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent work experience

NICE TO HAVE

  • A passion for games
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Writing code and/or making games of any kind
  • Experience with data platforms, ETLs, building taxonomies, querying data, building visualizations
  • Working on or with a centralized technology / platform engineering team
  • Working with a global team across many time zones
