Marjorie Straw

Marjorie Straw, PMP, has over 15 years of experience in program management and corporate initiatives. Marjorie currently works as a Programme Director at GSS Talent Hub since 2018. Prior to that, they held roles at Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) from 2010 to 2018, including Programme Director for Skills Development for Global Services (GSS Project), Manager of Corporate Initiatives, and Manager of Special Projects. From 2005 to 2012, Marjorie worked as the President of Projex Solutions, providing program management and overseeing corporate projects. Before that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at DLW Enterprise from 2007 to 2010, where they managed special projects and repositioned branding efforts.

Marjorie Straw, PMP, holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Florida International University - College of Business. Marjorie also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, French, and Spanish from the University of the West Indies. Additionally, Marjorie has a degree in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In terms of certifications, they are a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Marjorie has also obtained various other certifications, including Women's Leadership, Economics of Innovation for the Caribbean Region, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Risk Management in Development Projects, and Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC).
