John Emerson

John Emerson is a highly experienced engineering and manufacturing professional with a diverse background spanning multiple leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at James Hardie Building Products since April 2017, John previously held significant positions at the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety and J&M RV Management/Quest RV, where as Owner, revenue was doubled to exceed $1 million through strategic business expansions. John’s extensive experience at James Hardie includes serving as Plant Manager and Asia Pacific Regional Manufacturing Manager, overseeing large manufacturing teams and operations in the United States and Australia. Prior roles also include leadership positions at Laminated Papers, Scott Paper Company, and James River Corporation. John holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman.
