Tracey Nobis

Tracey Gallegos Nobis, CLM, currently serves as the PMO for Global Legal Operations at James Hardie since September 2021. As an Independent Contractor since December 2018, Tracey functions as a Fee Review Coordinator, overseeing the review of invoices from bankruptcy professionals for complex cases. Previously, Tracey held the position of Manager of Legal Operations at Argonne National Laboratory from January 2013 to October 2021, managing legal operations for a large-scale facility contracted with the Department of Energy. Additionally, Tracey worked as a Legal Operations Consultant for the University of Chicago's Office of Legal Counsel, focusing on eDiscovery and operational improvements. Tracey also contributed as an eLearning Instructor for the Association of Legal Administrators, developing a course to enhance the skills of law firm managers. Earlier career experience includes serving as Firm Administrator at The Foster & Buick Law Group, LLC, overseeing various aspects of law firm management. Tracey holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a focus on Management & Leadership from Judson University.
