Michael Smitherman

Michael Smitherman has extensive experience in sales and management, spanning several decades. From 1987 to 2008, Michael owned and managed Smitherman Lawn and Garden, a family-run business that employed 18 individuals and specialized in sales. Prior to that, Michael worked as a truck driver for Smitherman Oil Co. from 1965 to 1987, delivering heating oil in the Winston Salem area. Since September 2008, Michael has been involved in part-time sales at James River Equipment, focusing on John Deere lawn equipment and tractors, while officially retiring in 2011.
