Agust Gunnarsson

Agust Gunnarsson is a highly experienced baking professional with a strong background in research and development, currently serving as Master Baker for the James Skinner Baking Company since June 2023. Prior to this role, Agust worked as a Research and Development Master Baker at Epi Breads and at Au Bon Pain, where collaboration with marketing teams and training for café staff were key responsibilities. Agust co-founded Carberry’s Bakery, where innovative products, including a gluten-free line, were developed. Agust's expertise is recognized through induction in the International Master Baker’s Guild and numerous accolades, including Best of Boston awards. With formal education from the University of Iceland and the Culinary Institute of Iceland, Agust has received extensive training in Europe, specializing in various baking techniques.
