Support Services & Emergency Preparedness Manager at Jamestown Regional Medical Center

Dane Grebel has a diverse work experience. From 2007 onwards, they worked at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, starting as a Support Services & Emergency Preparedness Manager and later transitioning to the role of Support Services Manager. Dane was responsible for managing a team of 30 employees in various departments, such as environmental services, linen services, and grounds. Dane enjoyed their job and faced challenges related to staffing and keeping the staff motivated to complete their tasks.

In 2016, Dane became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA), passing various certification exams, including the National Core of Knowledge Exam for Long Term Care Administrators (CORE) and the National Nursing Home Administrators Line of Service Examination Program (NHA). Dane also completed an Administrator in Training (AIT) internship and the state of North Dakota Nursing Home Administrator certification test.

During the same period, Dane completed the majority of their Administrator-In-Training (AIT) hours at Wishek Home For The Aged. Dane also gained experience at Jamestown Eventide and Golden Acres Manor.

Prior to their work in healthcare, Dane owned and managed Full Throttle Bar and Grill from 2003 to 2006. Dane previously served as the General Manager at Valley City Town and Country Club from October 2002 to May 2003.

Dane Grebel, MS, LNHA, holds a Master's Degree in Executive Management, which was obtained from the University of Mary from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Dane returned to Valley City State University in 2010 to 2011 to complete additional courses in Biology, General. Dane's initial Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services was earned from Valley City State University from 1995 to 2000.

In terms of certifications, Dane has obtained various certifications from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and the State of North Dakota. Notable certifications include ICS-00300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents and ICS-00400 Advanced ICS, both obtained from FEMA in March 2016. Dane also holds certifications in Introduction to the Incident Command System (IS-00100), ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents (IS-00200), National Incident Management System (NIMS) an Introduction (IS-00700), A National Response Plan (NRP), an Introduction (IS-00800), all obtained from FEMA in 2007. Additionally, Dane holds a Nursing Home Administrator certification obtained from the State of North Dakota in January 2021.
