Martin Stobbs

Martin Stobbs is a seasoned offshore production engineer with extensive experience in the renewable energy and oil & gas sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Offshore Production Engineer at Jan De Nul Group since January 2016, Martin specializes in providing technical support for project development, focusing on geophysical and geotechnical analysis, trenching tool selection, and risk assessment related to burial activities. Prior roles include Offshore Production Engineer and Core Assessor at the Student Loans Company, and Lead Geotechnical Engineer at DeepOcean UK, where responsibilities included preparing and submitting trenching tenders. Martin holds an MSc in Applied Marine Geoscience from Bangor University and a BSc (Hons) in Geology & Physical Geography from the University of Liverpool.
