Sandhya D'Souza

Sandhya D'Souza began their work experience in 2008 as an Advertising Intern at Meridian Communication. Sandhya then moved on to work as a Reporting and Sub Editing intern at Deccan Herald in 2008. In 2009, they joined NDTV for a short period to work in Reporting and Broadcast Journalism. From 2010 to 2013, Sandhya worked as a Correspondent at Decca. In 2014, they joined Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy as an Associate in Content & Communications. Over the years, they took on progressively more senior roles, including Communications Consultant, Associate - Citizen Communications, Senior Associate - Citizen Communications and Content, and currently, as Associate Manager - Communications & Content.

Sandhya D'Souza completed their education at various institutions in Mangalore, India. Sandhya attended St. Agnes College for their primary, high school, and pre-university education. Following that, they enrolled at St. Aloysius College where they received their Bachelor's degree in Arts with a focus on journalism, psychology, and literature from 2005 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from St. Aloysius College from 2008 to 2010. In December 2020, Sandhya obtained certification in UGC National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor from the University Grants Commission (ugc).
