Alyssa Beaton Tanguay

Alyssa Beaton Tanguay has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as an Operations Manager at Tunnel Espresso Bar until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as an Accounting Assistant at Adminco Conseil Inc. In 2017, they joined Open North as an Operations Manager and later became a Consultant until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Designer + Technician at Plantation Plants. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Production Coordinator at Technicolor before becoming an Apprentice Mentor at Lighthouse Labs. In 2021, they worked as a Frontend Developer at Plank, where they planned and estimated tasks, contributed to environmental assessment, and set new standards for collaboration. In 2022, they joined Jane Technologies, Inc. as a Software Engineer, Frontend. Additionally, they authored a book titled "Sidewalk Plants, urban plant guide and introduction to their potential" in 2018.

Alyssa Beaton Tanguay's education history includes a diploma in Web Development from Lighthouse Labs in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Concordia University, which they attended from 2012 to 2015. Alyssa also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Carleton University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Alyssa has obtained a certification as a "Gestionnaire d'établissement alimentaire" from the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) in November 2014.
