Casey Hofford

Casey Hofford has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2013, Casey worked as a Graphic Designer for NAMI Colorado Springs and as a Lab Technician at ITS Colorado College, where they assisted students with technology troubleshooting and taught software skills. They also worked as a GIS Technician, using Trimble GPS systems for data collection and creating visually appealing publications.

In 2015, Casey interned as a REU Intern at Samford University. The following year, they worked as a Canvasser for the Fund for the Public Interest, raising funds and increasing awareness of societal issues.

Starting in 2016, Casey worked as a Microtechnologist at the Brewing Science Institute Inc, producing high-quality yeast for craft breweries. They later joined the Smithsonian Institution as a Data Management Intern, where they processed and managed large datasets and wrote software to expedite data import.

In 2017, Casey briefly worked as a Catering Assistant at Bon Appétit Management Company. They then started contracting projects as a Contractor for various tools including JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Python, and WordPress. They managed Linux VPS servers and effectively managed time while working remotely.

In 2020, Casey joined Sono Bello as a Software Engineer, working on a small team to develop enterprise web services using tools such as C#, Visual Studio, React, Azure Functions, and T-SQL. Later that year, they joined Jane Technologies, Inc. as a Full Stack Engineer and eventually transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer in 2022.

Casey Hofford obtained a Bachelor's degree in Organismal Biology and Ecology Major with a minor in Computer Science from Colorado College from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, Casey obtained a High School Diploma from Shorewood High School from 2009 to 2013.
