Zheralyn Zabat has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Zheralyn started their career in 2004 as a Housekeeping Manager at Hyatt Lodge. From there, they transitioned to the role of Reservations and Communications Manager at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in 2005. In 2008, Zheralyn joined Hyatt Hotels Corporation as a Senior Implementation Specialist, where they led a successful system transition for the North America region. Zheralyn then served as a Front Office Manager at both Hyatt Regency Atlanta and Grand Hyatt Kauai from 2010 to 2013. Zheralyn returned to Hyatt Hotels Corporation as a System Specialist in 2013, later progressing to the role of Senior Specialist - Solutions Delivery, where they provided training and technical expertise for hotel solutions to a wide range of stakeholders. In 2017, they became a Project Manager - Global Property Solutions. After their time at Hyatt, Zheralyn worked at Shift4 Payments as a Project Manager IV, Enterprise Accounts from 2020 to 2021. Most recently, they joined Medallia as a Program Manager in 2022. Currently, Zheralyn holds the position of Director of Learning and Development at Janko Hospitality.

Zheralyn Zabat obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Elmhurst University between 2003 and 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Zabat completed various courses and programs including "Creating Inclusive Learning Experiences" and "Designing a Training Program: Setting Goals, Objectives, and Mediums" from LinkedIn, "Medallia Product Certification - Analyst I" from Medallia, "Learning Jira Software" from LinkedIn, "Salesforce for Customer Service" from LinkedIn, "Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP)" from LinkedIn, and finally achieved the "Project Management Professional (PMP)" certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2020.
